ACTION is a 9 month school created to respond to the call of God.
More specifically it combines relevant Bible formation and learning through action in a local church.
ACTION is a school for youth who are motivated to serve God for 9 months.
From October to June, you will be involved in the modern and dynamic church
of EBS in Strasbourg, France.
You will benefit from high quality Biblical training through the Biblical Institute Ex’L.
The Biblical Institute that is presented in English and then translated into French.
With mentors to guide you, you will serve throughout the different sectors of EBS: children, teens, youth, worship, social events, evangelization, neighborhood outreach, technical work and much more.
You couldn’t have dreamed of a better opportunity to develop your talents and put your Biblical training into practice daily throughout the week by way of service in a local and dynamic church.
Don't worry if you don't speak a drop of French because the majority of people there speak English.
In a society that is constantly bombarded with advertisements, the Action internship offers a communication unit taught by professionals that is relatable for the people of today.
In addition to general training, you will also have the opportunity to be taught by professionals in a specific area.
The ACTION internship proposes one concentration among the four following:
- Graphic design,
- Drama and theatrical arts
During your training, you will also visit two mega churches in Europe to inspire you even more.

Students will be involved from the beginning of October, 2013 to the end of June, 2014.
The school lasts for 9 months, 6 days a week:
=> Every afternoon from Tuesday to Friday: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, including evening meetings
=> Saturdays: 9:00 am or 1:00 pm (depending on the month) until the end of EBS 180
=> Every Sunday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
These are the typical hours given, with some exceptions

Every morning from Tuesday to Friday: Free
From December 19th after 3pm through January the 4th until 2pm.
From February 28th after 6pm through March 8th until 2pm
From April 25th after 6pm through May 3rd until 2pm

Strasbourg (originating from the German word Straßburg, meaning the city of roads) is situated right on the German border and is not far from Switzerland or Luxembourg.
Rich in history and culture, (Alsatian dialect, buildings and cuisine…) today, Strasbourg is an extremely dynamic city with more than 50,000 students. It’s the most sought after university town in Eastern France, with one in every 5 students a foreigner.
Currently named the European Capital, Strasbourg is a very accessible city, having a direct TGV (train) line to Paris in place since 2006. There are also numerous bus and tram routes, as well as the largest circuit of cycle paths in France, meaning that people can easily travel throughout the whole city without the need for a car.
